A Really Lekker Weekend!
Wow!
Did I get spoilt this weekend or what!
On Friday, the display case for my dragon collection arrived, and on Friday when I got home from work I unpacked my collection- which I hadn’t seen in a year!!
My Glugs’ was getting a little worried as I unpacked- he didn’t realise my collection was as big as it is, and the display cabinet is full! It looks so beautiful…
And, when my Glugs and I had a date day on Saturday, strolling around Sandton, he bought me a new pair of Nine West heels and a matching handbag! Are they not exquisite? They’re killer high… but I will wear them only on special occasions.
And on Sunday, the knucklehead and I had a mom and son date-day. 
I try and spend a day with him- or most of a day- every other month, where we mall-crawl and watch a movie and eat junk and talk crap and shop a little… like we did when it was just the two of us. Its great fun. And I love how he is still up for it no matter how old he gets! I love that he still wants to spend time with me like this. And yesterday he even told me I was cool! And yesterday he wore his Korn T-shirt and I wore my Guns ‘n Roses T-shirt! We must make an interesting pair when we go out together like this… 
And yesterday, the two of us went for tattoos as well! I now have Damien’s name in binary code, with each set of numbers seperated by a tiny little heart- bracelet style around my left wrist. He got a tribal dragon design done on his upper right arm. Its his own design, and he’s very chuffed with himself. He did admit though… that it hurt a LOT more than he thought it would! I think he figured that if his mom could do it then for him it would be a breeze! We went back to Cathy at Kevin’s Kustom Tattoos in Cresta. Cathy also did my strawberry and my cupcake, and I like her work. I got some cool shots of him being inked, and I’ll put them up on my photo blog.

I love the shoes and bag and I think you both made gorgeous choices on the ink. I like the both a lot. Timeless and classly. Glad he didn’t get something icky. I really like it. I really mature pick for his age. Yours is pure geninius! Are you going to use those shoes for dancing?
