How long have you been blogging?

It was 4 years in May 2009

Why did you start blogging?

For as long as I can remember, I wanted my own space on the interweb, but didn’t think it was even remotely possible…

What have you found to be the benefits of blogging?

Sheesh… where do I start!?? I met the love of my life through my blog. I have made some incredible friends through my blog. Blogging is quite literally cheap therapy. Writing things out helps me think it through as I do so. I can share my life with the knucklehead and help other ADHDer parents realise they are not alone.

How many times a week do you post an entry?

I used to post every day, but its now 2 or three times a week, and since my Glugster and I got together I don’t blog on weekends at all.

How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis?

I read about 100 blogs at LEAST once a week

Do you comment on other people’s blogs?

Totally! I am a serial commenter and I have something to say about 95% of the posts I read…

Do you keep track of how many visitors you’ve had?

Yup, I have a hit counter on all my blogs.

Do you ever regret a post that you wrote?

Only once did I delete a post after it’d been up for a day or so. it was written in anger and it wasn’t “me” at all…

Do you think your audience has a true sense of who you are based on your blog?

I believe so…

Do you blog under your real name?

I have always used my first name, but for my son and my family’s sake I didn’t use my surname. Now I have so many friends from inside my blogosphere, and my son is 18 years old it’s not such a huge issue anymore.

Are there topics you would never blog about?

I don’t blog about my sex life, though I allude to its fabulousness occasionally,

What is the theme/ topic of your blog?

It doesn’t really have a theme… though I think it could be mostly a mommy-type blog. I blog about my life and whatever is happening in it.

Do you have more than one blog? If so, why?

I have several! I seperated them for obvious reasons… I have a photo blog (mainly because it was slowing my main blog down to have so many photos loaded on it). I have a wedding planning blog because I would like to turn it into a business one day. I have a blog where I talk about my cats. I run my nephew Nathan’s blog. I have an invitation only blog for stories that I shared with a good friend… and that hasn’t been updated in a loooong time. And I have a completely private blog that only I read and post to- it’s where I do the “dear diary” entries that I have to get out of my head but  I don’t want people to read.

Have you ever deleted a comment from your blog?

Only spam. I have been surprisingly safe from meanies… my blog must be too boring! Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa
