Today Is The First Official ADHASA ADHD Awareness Day

My knucklehead is putting me through the wringer with his impulsivity and impatience at the moment… so I feel REALLY strongly about it all right now.
If you have friends or family dealing with and living with ADHDers, then today may be a good day to let them know you love them, that you know an ADHDer is a special needs child, that even if you don’t know what they’re going through exactly- you do NOT judge them for the way they handle their ADHDer, and that if they need a coupla hours off you’d be prepared to help out somehow… if you could see your way clear to taking care of their ADHDer for a while!
I’ll be doing a few posts on what it is exactly that makes life with an ADHDer so complicated.
So for now- go and hug an ADHDer parent!

I hope ADHD awareness will clear some of the misconceptions w.r.t ADHD.
I am aware of ADHD today – haven’t slept well. One of the things which worsens the condition. Make sure your ADHDer gets enough sleep!
