Right now, I am watching a recording off of the Crime channel and watching the puppies play like lunatics on the lounge floor.
I’m currently obsessed with cupcakes… Yes still! New recipes, decorating ideas, packaging… They are so versatile and so pretty! And there are so many recipes and so many competitions!
I cannot live without my darling husband, my @glugster. And this month he’s going on a hunting trip and it will be the longest we’ve ever been apart!
I’m reading ”Angel Time” by Anne Rice. I haven’t read a new Anne Rice in absolute aaages and I am enjoying this one. Unfortunately its taking me forever to get through ANY book these days!
I’m listening to channel 106 on DSTV Audio, usually when I’m baking. Its “Familiar Favourites” and its a nice variety for the day, and occasionally I switch to the rock music channels as well. I wish I could listen to 5FM or TUKSfm…
Favourite place in Joburg - I love Sandton City! Glugs and I go there for our date nights and I love strolling around… I’m a bit of a mall rat.
Favourite place in SA - Joburg with Cape Town a VERY close second! I love living in Joburg! I love how so much happens around me all the time, and I can drive anywhere pretty quickly. I love holidaying in Cape Town. I wouldn’t mind retiring there, but I would rather live in Joburg.
Favourite place in the world - in my husband’s arms. I know it sounds like a cliché, but its true. He is my go to person, the person I call when I desperately need someone as a sounding board, my best friend and the person I love spending time with.
I’ve lived in Joburg and Pretoria. Not very well travelled am I!!? 
Next up on my bucket list would probably be compiling a proper list! I suck so badly at follow-through though that I am afraid I would put one up and it would remain unchanged!

A house is not a home without love! Thassaright bunnies! This one took me the longest to complete because I couldn’t decide on just one thing, and then I realised its very simple for me. Where my loved ones are is home.

I’m currently working on the final design for my purple velvet @EpilepsySA #cupcakechallenge competition entry, and training the dogs of course.
I’m really proud of how well Volt is doing! He is my 32 week old SA guide-dog puppy-in-training, and its a lot of work to ensure that he will be properly ready for his formal guide-dog training when he’s a year old.
You’d be amazed if I showed you my make up collection! I love wearing make up and experimenting with different looks and I have far more of the stuff than I will ever get through in my lifetime… but I keep buying it!
I cannot survive winter without my faux fur throw! Its warm and it looks gawjiss and its easy to lug all over the house with me if I want to! And my cats love it too!
Signature dish is… erm… My hubby loves my meatballs, my son loves my cannelloni… my roast chicken is pretty good and the kids love my mac-n-cheese… And I can bake pretty well… I have no idea what my “signature dish” would be!
Guilty pleasure… probably condensed milk… I love the stuff and I can flatten a tin an a few minutes if given the opportunity!
When no-one’s looking I pull faces! And I have full on convos with myself including the accompanying facial expressions and hand gestures!
In my next life I want to be filthy rich? Thin? Blonde? I dunno! I hope to hell I don’t have to have a “next life”!
Every morning I get up around 6am, let the dogs out, feed the dogs and the cats, make sure my knucklehead is awake, and then make my Glugster and my knucklehead’s work lunches. If I have time before we leave for the car ride to drop them off at work, I’ll have a coffee and check out my email, BBM, Twitter and Facebook feeds.
I believe that the world would be a much nicer place if people just put good manners into practice!
I’ve really got to work on my task completion and scheduling! Its ridiculous how much I leave things to the last minute!
Best advice I was ever given was that if you didn’t actually pay for someone’s advice, you can happily ignore it.
